Prime Minister Narendra Modi to inaugurate Urja Sangam 2015
 
 
ONGC Videsh, Engineers India Limited and Barauni Refinery are celebrating their glorious journey of 50 years, this year. To mark this historic milestone, all the State- owned petroleum sector Companies have joined hands to make India energy secure and an international summit “Urja Sangam 2015: Shaping India’s Energy Security” is being organized under the aegis of Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.

Under the vibrant leadership of Narendra Modi, India is at the threshold of the next great phase of socio-economic transition with all round optimism in the citizens. As the gears of progress are turning fast, our country will be hungry for more energy resources to match the needs for development and therefore it is time to evaluate the past, consider the present and chart a future of Hydrocarbon Industry in India to nourish all round development. Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Minister of State for Petroleum & Natural Gas [I/C] considers Energy security as the backbone of the key government initiatives and this event will focus on showcasing India’s promising potential in the Hydrocarbon sector to the world and creating an investor-friendly atmosphere.
 
The global event will also witness the coming together of senior ministers and officials of the Government of India, CEOs and other leaders of the global hydrocarbon industry, policy makers, thought leaders and students from across the country on a single platform.
